Big Wigs Bank Big Cheque for Sue Ryder

BNI Wellingborough, a networking organisation in Wellingborough hosted a special Corporate Charity Networking Lunch to raise vital funds for health and social care charity, Sue Ryder. Members from the chapter raised an amazing £1523.00 for Sue Ryder as part of the Big Wigs Business Challenge.
The group's members decided to take up the challenge back in September when Sue Ryder challenged budding entrepreneurs in Northamptonshire to use their business skills and money making acumen to utilise £50 as creatively as possible to raise vital funds for Sue Ryder.
The Big Wigs have been battling it out over the last three months in the hope to win one of the many awards up for grabs in January recognising different business skills, including the Charity Entrepreneur of the Year award.

All money raised from the event is vital funds that will help Sue Ryder continue to provide quality care for people living with end of life and long-term conditions including; Cancer, Stroke, Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia, Huntington's Disease, Parkinson's Disease and Motor Neurone Disease.

Emma Long, at Sue Ryder said, "It was a fantastic event, the team worked very hard and it showed on the day, they should be very proud. All money raised from fundraising events such as the Big Wigs Business Challenge helps us continue to provide compassionate care to hundreds of people each year living with complex conditions."
